LCBL has undergone a raft of changes in the las four years. Our College can still be described as going through a transition process, as we are changing our business model from course provisions that cater mainly for international students to that which caters for both home (UK/EU) as well as international students.
We have also taken steps to register with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) by being listed on its Register of Training Organisations (ROTO) in addition to registering with the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP). The College is also on the ESFA's Register of Apprenticeships Training Providers (RoATP).
I have been involved in education and training in the United Kingdom for more than 28 years. Over the years, I have enjoyed the fascinating experience of dealing with young and matured students from all walks of life, different backgrounds as well as a diverse racial mix. It goes without saying that my background as a Solicitor of England and Wales had in some way prepared me for these challenges. In addition to attending to the needs of individual students, whose basic requirements are simply to progress in life through following a career path that will help them secure better jobs after their studies, I have enjoyed the privilege of talking to many parents who share the concerns and expectations of their children’s future.
At LCBL, we go to great lengths to meet the career needs of our students by providing them with the tools and necessary support that will facilitate their success in the course they have chosen to pursue.
Against this background, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to LCBL. I trust you will take the decision to join us and wish you every success in your chosen career.
